The Maitland Valley Council of the Calvinist Cadet Corps exists to support its member clubs by providing training and oganizing activities to help the Cadets to grow in all areas of life - physical, mental, social and devotional (which is the goal of Cadeting).

The counsellors of the member
clubs meet on the third Tuesday of every month for
training and planning of
activities. The council is managed by a board of counsellors
some elected from the
membership and the rest as reps of each member club.
